Orange Roughy Gets Top International Sustainability Tick

Today’s announcement that New Zealand’s key orange roughy fisheries have gained the international gold standard for sustainable fishing (MSC release) demonstrates this country’s commitment to sustainable fisheries management, Seafood New Zealand Chairman George Clement says.

“This is exciting news and vindicates the industry’s considerable investment in sound scientifically grounded fisheries management,” he says.
